About Us

NNPC Foundation Limited/GTE is the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) vehicle of NNPC Limited and its subsidiaries. Incorporated in February 2023 as a non-profit company limited by guarantee, the Foundation was established to consolidate, coordinate, implement, promote sustainable development, and improve the quality of life of Nigerians. As the social impact arm of NNPC Limited, the Foundation creates tangible and lasting value for communities through strategic interventions, partnerships, and investments that address critical social, economic, and environmental challenges. It also serves as a platform for enhancing NNPC Limited's corporate reputation, fostering strategic collaborations, attracting developmental funding, and supporting tax optimization objectives.

NNPC Foundation continues to deliver impactful interventions across education, healthcare, environment, youth development, and access to energy:

Education & Youth Development

  • Trained 722,776 NYSC members through the Basic Financial Literacy Programme.
  • Implemented the NNPC Foundation NYSC Youth Empowerment Programme, equipping young Nigerians with entrepreneurial and vocational skills.
  • Distributed 531 Solar Power Packs to beneficiaries of the NYSC Youth Empowerment Programme to support sustainable livelihoods.
  • Donated 40,000 STEM textbooks and established Mini Science Libraries in public schools across Nigeria's six geopolitical zones and the FCT.
  • Delivered the STEAM Programme (Youth-Led Energy Transition and Sustainability) to inspire innovation and sustainability among young Nigerians.
  • Organized the Youth Hackathon to promote creativity, problem-solving, and technology-driven solutions.

Healthcare

  • Conducted Cataract Outreach Programmes across Nigeria's six geopolitical zones.
  • Provided life-saving cardiac procedures for 25 vulnerable Nigerians.
  • Implemented cancer awareness, sensitization, and screening programmes, including childhood cancer screening in rural communities.
  • Rehabilitated 100-bed hospital wards at the National Orthopaedic Hospital, Igbobi, Lagos.
  • Donated MRI machines to Nnamdi Azikiwe University Teaching Hospital (NAUTH), Anambra State, and the National Orthopaedic Hospital, Dala, Kano State.

Environment & Sustainability

  • Trained vulnerable farmers across Nigeria's six geopolitical zones on sustainable agricultural practices and livelihood enhancement.
  • Implemented Afforestation and Reforestation Initiatives in Katsina State to promote environmental sustainability and climate resilience.

Access to Energy

  • Donated 45 Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) buses to the Federal Government of Nigeria in support of cleaner, more affordable, and sustainable transportation.
